Scary Lower Back Pain - One Symptom of Prostate Cancer is Lower Back Ache

Sure we all experience lower back pain. This especially happens when we sit for a long period of time. However, there are some lower back pains that are more dangerous than we think.
This is because the lower back region is also the host for the prostate gland. A lower back pain may be due to prostate cancer in that case.

A lower back ache can be solved by a simple massage or exercise. However, you should consult with a doctor if you have the following:
  • Lower back pain with difficulty urinating
  • Lower back pain with blood in urine
  • Lower back pain with pain in the scrotum or testicles
  • Lower back pain lasting for months
A simple liniment or pain killer medicines can cure lower back pain. But if the pain persists for several days and that you have any of the following symptoms mentioned above, then you can consult a doctor. It may be due to prostate swelling or cancer that is why you have persistent lower back pains.
